A first chat is just a first chat
A first chat can give you clarity, not pressure
Thinking about your first home, but not ready to buy just yet?
That is completely normal. A lot of first home buyers in Victoria think speaking with a broker means they need to be ready to make an offer next month. It does not. In fact, for many people, the first conversation is simply about getting clarity, understanding the numbers, and mapping out what to do next at a pace that suits their life.
I keep that first chat simple. We usually spend around 20 minutes talking through your income, savings, regular spending, and any goals you have for the future. From there, I can give you a rough idea of what you may be able to borrow, then help you think through practical next steps, even if your next step is 12 or 18 months away. There is no hard sell, no commitment, and no credit check unless you ask me to arrange one.
Why does that matter? Because buying your first home is not just about finding a property. It is also about timing, preparation, and knowing what options may be available to you. I can explain the basics in plain English, and I also speak Hindi and Gujarati, which can make the process easier and more comfortable if you prefer to talk things through in another language.
I also have access to more than 60 lenders on my panel, which means I can compare a wide range of options and help you understand what may suit your situation. Every lender has its own policy, so the right fit can depend on your income type, deposit, employment, and the way you plan to buy. That is why a personalised conversation is so useful.
A balanced note: borrowing power is only a guide. The amount you may be able to borrow is not the same as the amount you should comfortably repay. I always encourage buyers to think about day-to-day living costs, interest rate changes, and future plans before making any decisions.
With 17+ years in the banking industry, I bring experience, patience, and a practical approach to every conversation. I also offer weekend and after-hours appointments, which can be especially helpful if you work standard 9am to 5pm hours and need a time that actually fits your schedule.
If you are a first home buyer in Victoria and want a calm, helpful starting point, I am here to guide you. Book an appointment with me and let’s map out your next step together.
